Well, summer has come and gone and Eleanor had lots of fun in the sun. She celebrated her first birthday with yummy carrot cake. Mmmmm. Later in August we spent a few days in Newport Coast Grandma and Grandpa Simpson, Aunt Lindsey, Aunt Bekah, Uncle Scott, and cousins George and Jack. Lots of fun was had by all. Below are just a few pictures of our summer. Enjoy!

Eleanor’s latest tricks:

• Talking all the time (ga, da, ma, ba, etc.)
• Can now respond to the following questions. . . Q: What does a chicken say? A: Boc boc boc. Q:What does a duck say? A: Ca ca ca ca Q: What does a lion say? A: Raaaaaaa
• Still refuses to walk, though she sure can crawl fast.
• Loves her dolly and can frequently be seen giving her kisses, patting her on the head, and letting her drink from her Sippy cup.
• Loves to climb, on anything including the couch, her giant beanbag, mom or dad, and any unsuspecting box or carseat.
• Loves talking on the phone, out a phone to her ear and she will gleefully say “Hiiiiii” !
