6 Months of Changes

This Saturday February 16th, Ellie celebrated her semi-annual birthday! Six months have passed since the momentous occasion of her arrival. Here’s how she’s changed. . .

Then: Couldn’t see more than 12 inches away

Now: Follows mom and dad with her eyes as we walk around the house

Then: Blue-gray eyes

Now: Greenish-brown eyes

Then: Lots of soft dark brown hair

Now: Even more soft (but lighter) brown hair

Then: Loved to be held and rocked to sleep

Now: Well. . . that hasn’t changed

Then: Didn’t know she had fingers, much less toes!

Now: Thinks fingers and toes are the tastiest toys ever

Then: In a typical week ate 80 meals, had 60 wet diapers, and pooped at least twice a day.

Now: In a typical week eats 35 meals, has 30 wet diapers, and poops 2 times a week!

Now at Six Months and Then at just a few weeks.

Ellie tries rice cereal for the first time. Very little food actually got into her tummy. Click on the family album for more messy photos.
