Babies Make Christmas More Fun!!

Right? How come everything seems more fun with a little baby? Ellie smiled and cooed her way through her very first Christmas. I’d even go so far as to say that she enjoyed it. My mind couldn’t help but contemplate how joyous the day seemed, more so than ever, because of the little one God gave us. It was just last Christmas that we were so giddy waiting to tell our families that we were pregnant. How strange it was that we did not know then what our little baby would look like, or even if it was a boy or girl. Now, we have this smiling, wiggling, cooing little girl. God is truly amazing. Here are some great moments with family from this Christmas season. or more pix check out the Family Album

Away in a Manger

Ellie made her acting debut last night with a starring role in “The Christmas Story.” The daycare Ellie will be attending when I go back to work puts on a Christmas play every year, complete with costumes, rehearsed lines, singing, and choreography. It just might be the cutest thing you ever saw. This year it only got cuter with Ellie playing the part of baby Jesus. She was saintly in her little “manger” and no sound did she make. We thought that there was no better debut role than that of the Christ-child.

On the way home Ellie called her agent to ask for a bigger trailer (not really). However, we think she’ll take a break from show business for now, at least until next Christmas. Maybe next year she can be a sheep or a cow? Dream big right?

Look closely, she’s the one in between Mary and Joseph. Sorry for the poor lighting.

Oh the humanity!

Ellie has recently taken up the hobby of beating up poor defenseless (stuffed) animals. Here’s some dramatic footage of her new pig being chewed senseless.

Putting “piggy” in a headlock.

Caught in the act.
